The Leaping Fae is a place to experience creativity.  We offer education, art supplies and gifts, and a supportive environment for sharing skills and talent.

Owner Jennifer Peña, Certified Fairyologist, has a business background in IT and graphic design, as well as over a decade of experience in the field of education.  Her Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics combined with a Masters in Education contribute to her belief in the need for self expression and imagination for success in learning and in life.  Her students’ willingness to take risks are nurtured and empowered when they are given a safe environment in which to thrive.

In this current climate of divisiveness, diversity and inclusivity are needed more than ever.  The Leaping Fae is owned by a queer family of color.  We welcome anyone interested in learning, sharing, and immersing themselves in the Arts, especially the outsiders and weirdos who are too often lost or unseen in the community.  The Leaping Fae is a sanctuary for people seeking a creative experience.  It is a resource for learning as well as a gathering place for those with similar interests or looking to try something different.

The importance of experiencing creativity is not just for the young - it is for everyone.  We need to have an outlet for stress, to allow ourselves to play, and to connect with others.  The Arts give us that outlet and the voice for expression
